• In this experiment, we can study Fabry-Perot optical resonator which is a resonant cavity formed by two parallel reflecting mirrors separated by a medium such as air or gas.
• When the mirrors are aligned perfectly parallel to each other, the reflections of the light waves between the two mirrors interfere constructively and destructively. And the interference is a multiple-beam interference.
• We can observe fringes and measure the wavelength separation of Sodium D-lines.
