FLUME FOR OPEN AND CLOSED FLOW

EXPERIMENTAL CAPABILITIES:
Open flume:
  1. Flow over weir structures
  2. Flow over a wide crested weir (sharp or rounded)
  3. Flow over a narrow crested weir
  4. Flow underneath an undershoot weir
Closed flume:
  1. Measurements of static pressure and total pressure in a pipe.
  2. Flow through a closed flume with constant cross-section
  3. Flow through a closed flume with changing cross-section
FLUME FOR OPEN AND CLOSED FLOW

FLUME FOR OPEN AND CLOSED FLOW for open and closed flow apparatus enables experiments to be performed on open and closed flumes.
Various weir structures can be investigated and it is possible to create a closed flume. Basic experiments on pipe flow can be made on the unit. The integrated, height adjustable ramp can be used for both flumes.
