Electrical Heat Equivalent (Joule’s Law) This experiment used to study the physical meaning of the electrical equivalent of heat, and used to determine it experimentally.
Equipment:
- Isolated double walled calorimeter.
- Acrylic base with thermal resistance and stirrer.
- DC Power supply (12V/3A).
- Rheostat (25Ω/3A).
- 2 x Digital multi meters.
- Alcoholic thermometer (0-100⁰C).
- Cables.
- Digital stop watch.
