Linear Thermal Expansion In this experiment, we can study the thermal expansion of the metal.
Equipment:
- Metallic rod with fixed length and diameter made from (copper, stain less steel).
- Steam generator with capacity 2L.
- Hot plate.
- Dial gauge Micrometer in range 10 mm with accuracy 0.01mm.
- Alcoholic thermometer.
- Connection rubber.
- Beaker to collect the outer water.
- Ruler.
