ORIFICE FLOW METER: The discharge through an orifice is the simplest method used to determine the flow rate through any device.
PHOTON Orifice Flow Meter consists of an orifice meter and suitable Rotameter to measure the flow rate. The orifice meter uses the head loss principle to measure the flow rate with transparent cover. Control valve is used to adjust the flow rate through the orifice and Rotameter. The orifice plate flow meter is designed for use with hydraulic bench to supply water and measure the actual flow rate. The experimental results showed that the discharge coefficient through the orifice is about 65% of the solution indicated by the simple analysis.
