SERIES / PARALLEL PUMP DEMONSTRATOR: Centrifugal pumps are very important to enhance the flow rate and the delivery pressure according to their connections.
Photon Series / Parallel centrifugal pump test set allows the student to study the resultant flows and heads for two similar pumps operating in a series or parallel configuration. This module consists of a reservoir and pipework for continuous closed loop water circulation. Different valves are added at pump inlets and outlets to allow the selected configuration. The two pumps are driven by electric motors with 360W. Different ranges of bourdon pressure gauge were used to measure the pressure head at pump inlets and outlets and can be varied by means of the inlet and outlet valves. Suitable Rotameter is used to measure the water flow rate.
