Thermal conductivity of good conductor by using Searle method In this experiment we study heat transfer through good conductor and determined thermal conductivity of copper rod.
Equipment:
- Copper rod with fixed length and diameter supplied with steam room, which is isolated and provided with 4 holes for thermometers.
- Steam generators with capacity 2L.
- Hot plate.
- 4 alcoholic thermometers.
- Digital Stopwatch.
- Rubber Connectors.
- Beaker to collect the outer water.
- Holders.
